Libby, MT, is the County Seat and serves as the employment, business, commercial and banking center for South Lincoln County. As the County Seat, Libby is the location for Lincoln County's courts and government offices. The hamlet of Troy lies 15 miles northwest on US Highway 2.

Population and Demographics:

According to 2014 Census estimates, there are 19,125 people living in Lincoln County. The populations of Libby and Troy were 2,656 and 924 in 2014.
